I’m a graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. Degree in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting and a minor in Japanese studies. I wore many hats with everything I did on campus. I was the General Manager for the broadcasting club WHEE-TV Catamount Entertainment, the TV Studio Production Manager for the communication department, an Equipment Manager for Western’s football team, the Photo Editor for The Western Carolina Journalist, and a Photo Contributor to The Western Carolinian. I’ve been doing photography for almost a decade now. I primarily specialize in sports photography, but I also enjoy event, landscape, wildlife, and portrait photography.

My journey into the field of broadcasting began in high school, where I interned with New Hanover County Schools Television, where I learned a great deal about producing multi-camera news. Then, I joined the club that would eventually become WHEE-TV during my first year of college and ran the audio board for almost all our productions. Then I took on more responsibility in a leadership position within the club, where I work directly with our members to teach them how to create multi-camera productions and ensure everything runs smoothly.
